To create a new Spotify group session (as these virtual listening parties are called), you’ll need to first start listening to a song or podcast in the mobile app. Note: If you choose Take over speaker, everyone else will be removed and their queue will be lost. Tap and select the speaker your friend is playing on.If you are on the same WiFi network, you can join the session without invitation. Participants can control what’s playing on the speaker. Now multiple people can join and control this speaker. Tap and choose the device you want to play on.Note: Make sure your device and the speaker are on the same WiFi network.
